Meet the Staff

Administrative Assistant Jill Thomas

Born an only child in the autumn of 1967, I’ve lived all but 7 years of my life in the Elk River area. From December 1995 until April 2003, I did a stint in East Texas and found it was very much not to my liking. Blazing temperatures, cockroaches, fire ants, poisonous snakes, no definition of seasons to speak of, no snow—I finally said enough was enough and moved back to my old stomping grounds in Minnesota.

I have three cats (Duncan, Willow, and Oliver) who I adore, although their antics are making my hair prematurely grey (I’m a neurotic cat mother). I’m married to a wonderful man named Eli who is well and truly my soulmate. I watch a lot of hockey in my spare time, and I’m a voracious reader. I’m interested in foreign languages (I’d love to become fluent in Spanish, French, and perhaps even Italian). My interest in alternative medicine prompted me to enroll in a distance-learning course, and I’m currently working toward a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Health. I love animals (my favorites are big and little cats, giraffes, and bats), music, surfing the ‘Net, keeping in touch with my friends, Ireland (I’d love to visit there someday), and making people laugh.
